Places for People, St. Louis, MO
Founded over 40 years ago, Places for People provides caring, effective services to help those with the greatest challenges recover from mental illnesses, substance abuse and associated chronic illnesses. The Meier Jost team directed a capital campaign for the organization that raised more than $8 million to purchase a new facility to help them better serve their burgeoning client case load. The newly purchased and renovated facility has 45% more square feet of space, houses a comprehensive health care center and pharmacy.
St. Joseph Housing Initiative, St. Louis, MO
The St. Joseph Housing Initiative wanted to grow and mature beyond the means of its current level of support from the community. To achieve its financial vision, Meier Jost prepared a plan to develop their fundraising capability.
St. Mary Magdalen Parish, St. Louis, MO
Over eight years ago, St. Mary Magdalen Parishioners identified necessary Parish renovations, specifically interior improvements to a venerable church. Meier Jost & Associates focused on items to be improved, repaired or replaced. Meier Jost met, and in some cases exceeded, these church-related needs due to a successful capital campaign in 2014. Now, in 2021, the Parish is moving on to the necessary exterior repairs and renovations of the church. As with the interior, it has lacked the necessary maintenance to keep it safe and structurally sound. The feasibility study will be completed by mid-June. If the study recommends a capital campaign, it will begin in the summer of 2021 and be completed by the end of the year.
